Christmas cards featuring original artwork created by a man who received “life-changing” support from the Pear Tree Fund have gone on sale.
The cards, which feature an image of a partridge in a pear tree, are available from the Pear Tree Centre and Dee’s Den charity shop in Steeple End, as well as Halesworth Book Shop, which can only accept cash. They are priced at £3 for 10 and £5 for 20.
The cards were designed by John Appleton, who received support from the charity after being diagnosed with myeloma in February 2021.
All funds raised from the sale of the cards will be used to provide information, advice and support to people with a life-changing illness or long-term condition, as well as their families and carers. This includes a range of free services available from the Pear Tree Centre, such as wellbeing and bereavement support and help to live well in the community.
