Kevin joined the Pear Tree Fund in May 2021 as the charity’s first chief executive. He has extensive experience in the voluntary and charitable sectors, and has also held trustee positions with two national charities.
“It is a privilege to lead the Pear Tree Fund as it begins the next chapter of its development,” said Kevin. “The work which everyone involved with the Pear Tree Fund has done so far is just amazing. I am really looking forward to working with our trustees, staff and the community to build on these strong foundations so that we can reach even more people in the future and provide them with vital support when they need it the most.”
Before joining the Pear Tree Fund, Claire spent 10 years as the town clerk and responsible financial officer for Beccles Town Council. Prior to this she worked at the district council where she progressed from a trainee role to a senior accountant position with responsibility for capital expenditure and treasury management.
Claire has also acted as the secretary and treasurer for two Corton charities over the past 13 years.
“I am delighted to be accounts manager for the Pear Tree Fund," said Claire. "I am in awe of the work of the charity and the support it offers to members of the community when they are most in need, and I very much look forward to contributing positively to its ongoing success.”

She is well-known after spending her career working as a clinical link nurse for the community hospitals and field care supervisor for Prestige, where she helped new carers to develop their skills and knowledge to help them provide the best possible care.
“I am thrilled to be working at the Pear Tree Centre as it encompasses a feeling of calm and sensitivity," said Jackie. "I feel like I’ve come home after all the years I worked at the hospital and am so pleased to be part of such a worthwhile enterprise.”
