The trustees of the Pear Tree Fund have issued a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported the charity over recent months.
They include:
- The Heveningham Hall Country Fair Trust, which has donated £30,000 after raising the money through its annual country fair and fireworks display.
- Long-term supporter Dot Booley, who raised £575 by holding her annual coffee morning at Holton Village Hall in December.
- The Bramfield Queen’s Head, which raised £103 with a competition to guess how many sweets were in the jar on the bar.
- Sally Thompson, who raised £388 by selling handmade stained glass angels.
- Katie, Suzy and Sally from our Crafty Chatter group, who held a stall at The Cut Christmas bazaar. All items for sale were handmade by members of the group and they raised more than £500.
The Crafty Chatter group meets every Wednesday, and offers people the chance to enjoy tea, cake and a variety of different crafts. It also provides support with bereavement or to those living with a life changing diagnosis. Contact the centre for more information.
