William Bird and Westhall Charity FC are holding a charity football match, barbecue, auction and quiz at Leiston Town Athletics Association to raise vital funds for our charity.
The fun takes place on Sunday 17 May, starting with the barbecue at 2.30pm. The match kicks off at 3pm, and anyone aged 16 or over is welcome to take part of an entry fee of £10. The quiz will follow at 6pm with entry priced at £3 per person (maximum team of four). The day finishes with the auction, with lots including a Como Football Club signed shirt, Fisher’s Gin tour, Bawburgh Golf Club four ball voucher and more.
William has arranged the event as he has personal experience of the Pear Tree Fund. He said: “The centre is somewhere I have used personally for support. It has been amazing.”
