After entering the London Marathon ballot for the past eight years, Reece Ling finally got the news he’d been waiting for when he secured his place for the 2026 event. He has chosen to support two charities, and the Pear Tree Fund is lucky enough to be one of them.
Reece said “I’m not a big fan of running but am enjoying the challenge I’ve set myself and am sticking to it. Getting out on cold, wet evenings is definitely the hardest part, but it’s one of those things that just has to be done.
“I chose the Pear Tree Fund as one of my charities because of the great work it does supporting families when they really need it. Knowing the money raised will make a real difference is a big motivation to keep going, especially on the tougher days.”
