The Pear Tree Fund is looking for four new trustees to join its resourceful, friendly, and committed team and help transform the lives of those in our community who are most in need. This is an exciting opportunity to join the charity at a time of change and play an integral role in its development.
We are looking for a trustee with fundraising expertise and three other trustees. The successful applicants will join our board of trustees and help set the future direction of the Pear Tree Fund to make sure it can continue to respond to the needs of the local community.
As well as the main board role, successful applicants will also join a relevant sub-committee. Face-to-face meetings take place twice a year, while other meetings are held remotely. Trustees will need to attend 10 to 12 meetings a year in this voluntary role, which are largely held online, and will be able to claim reasonable out of pocket expenses.
